Data we process

  • Company data: name, short name, address, country, registration number, date of establishment, customs identification numbers, VAT numbers
  • Contact data: name, position, e-mail address, phone number
  • Signature (as image) and uploaded documents (register extract, document on the first customs activity, ID copy of the signatory)
  • Payment data: reference number, amount, payment status (card data is processed by Stripe only)
  • Technical data: IP address and browser information for security and abuse prevention

Purpose and legal basis

We process your data to prepare, check and submit your EORI application to the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (FURS) as your authorised representative, to settle the payment and to communicate with you. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients

  • Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (FURS), Financial Office Kranj (submission of the application and attachments by e-mail, originals by post if required)
  • Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (card payments)
  • Hosting provider in the EU (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany) for data storage
  • E-mail provider for sending messages

Retention

We keep application data for up to 12 months after completion, invoice data for the statutory retention period (10 years). Uploaded documents are deleted after the application is completed.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Contact us at info@eori-slovenia.eu. You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec) or the authority of your country of residence.
